WA has welcomed another Lotto instant millionaire.
The $1million ticket was sold through Lotterywest Play Online and was one of two that matched the jackpot numbers on Wednesday night’s Millionaire Medley draw.
The other winning ticket was sold in Queensland.
A ticket sold by Swan View Newsagency won $5166 as a division two prize.
It comes as a WA player won $5000 a month for the next year in Wednesday night’s Set for Life draw. This ticket was sold by The Nugget Boddington.
Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said it had been a great night for WA players.
“It’s fantastic to celebrate another West Australian millionaire alongside two division two wins,” she said.
“Since Millionaire Medley launched in May this year, seven West Australian’s have matched the numbers to a division one prize and become overnight millionaires.”
Ms Wender also mused at what a WA win on Thursday night’s $50 million Powerball jackpot would look like.
“Hopefully, the wins for WA players continue for tonight’s $50 million Powerball jackpot,” she said.
“If a WA player takes home tonight’s entire $50 million Powerball jackpot, it will be the State’s largest Lotto win this year.”
