Tapping is another brand new
development in its infancy. Next door to,
and sharing facilities with,
Carramar it is
hard to see where one ends and the next
begins.
A 10 minute drive will take you to Lakeside
shopping centre in
Joondalup,
Joondalup railway station and the
other facilities of
Joondalup town centre. An extra
couple of minutes will see you dipping your
toes in the Indian Ocean at Burns Beach, and
a 27km drive down
Wanneroo
Rd will take you to the heart of Perth.
There is a park for the children but for
everything else you will have to go to
Joondalup or
Wanneroo.
The nearest public primary school is
in Carramar (5 mins), or private (primary & high)
school at St Stephens in Tapping itself (see photos
below).
St Stephens is a very popular school and
it’s not unusual to find that families have
moved to the area just to get their children
into the school. The
nearest public high school is Wanneroo (10 mins).
The latest land release has
seen prospective buyers camping out in the
car park of the
land sales office.
