Ridgewood is a small suburb located 35km from Perth CBD , east of Merriwa between Connolly Drive and the Railway. Originally a private estate within the suburb of Merriwa, it gained “suburb status” as both areas grew. It is a small, quiet area with most homes probably being between 5 and 10 years old. Ridgewood has a large park area around a lake and a petrol station, but all other services are shared either with the neighbouring suburbs of Merriwa and Clarkson. There is also a new retirement development for the over 50’s.

Property in Ridgewood currently represents good value, many homes are quite large and most gardens are well established. It is still only a 5 minute drive to the Ocean and the same to Ocean Keys Shopping Centre (see Clarkson) and Clarkson Railway Station.
