Estate has seen Ballajura grow
substantially over the last 10 years, as it offers a wide choice
of homes that will cater for every budget, yet within 5 minutes
of one of the cities major employment areas.
Development started in Ballajura
around 25 years ago with the North
Ballajura area. This was
followed a few years later with central
Ballajura and the first release of land in the
prestigious “lakes” estate. West county
and Glenview estates were developed around 10 years ago. Most
areas are now fully developed although you will find the
occasional block of land for building. The suburb is well
established with mature gardens, parkland and areas of bush, but
you will find a wide variety of housing reflecting how the
estates have grown over a number of years.
In
the older estates many houses are built on traditional lots of
between 600 and 800m2, with the newer estates having smaller
easy care blocks. In the lakes
estate you will find homes on blocks as large as 2000m2, with
price tags to match!
You
WILL find homes in Ballajura to fit
any pocket, 3 bedroomed homes from
under £190k, a 4 bed will cost from
$230k, a home in the tropical setting of the lakes estate will
cost from $340k to $900k. As it is an area which has seen some
investment purchasing over the last few years you will also find
plenty rental properties although being a popular area they are
snapped up quite quickly.
