Here at MoveToPerth we are taking a different approach. We want to be the place that people trust to get practical advice - and the first place to turn if you want a recommended product or service.

This is a family run site that we started in March 2005 after talking with many of our migrant friends. Our experiences, and the experience of others have led us to the MoveToPerth concept:

• Providing as much advance information as we can on what to expect when you get here.

• Providing detailed information on Perth suburbs to help narrow down the choices for when you first arrive.

• Only allowing short-stay furnished rental properties to be advertised with us if they pass a regular rigorous inspection by us (i.e. we would be happy for our kids to stay there).

• Only recommending companies and services if we, or our members, have had good experiences in the past.

• Providing a relocation assistance service for those who want a friendly face and a bit of extra reassurance when they arrive.

There are a huge amount of people migrating to Perth every year. Unfortunately, many are faced with uncertainty and disappointment. Let's change that.
